In Principio, Latin for “In the Beginning,” is the second design in our Sacred Mosaic Collection. Inspired by the opening words of the Gospel of John, this piece captures the quiet wonder of Christ’s birth—the moment when the eternal Word entered the world as a child. Mary and Joseph bow tenderly over the infant Jesus, a simple, intimate scene that holds the extraordinary promise of salvation.
